LCIA Method
A packaged set of impact categories, characterisation models and factors — and sometimes normalisation and weighting sets — used to carry out impact assessment consistently. Widely used examples are the EU Environmental Footprint method, ReCiPe, CML-IA, and the IPCC method for climate change alone. Results obtained with different methods are not directly comparable, which is one reason a method must fix the choice.
