Eco-efficiency

The ratio between the value a product or system delivers and the environmental impact it causes — more value per unit of impact, or less impact per unit of value. Standardised in ISO 14045, it links the results of an LCA with an economic indicator, which makes it a natural bridge between the LCA and LCC pillars of an assessment.
