In S-LCA, a group of people who share an interest in the system being assessed. The UNEP 2020 Guidelines name six: workers, local community, value chain actors, consumers, society and children. Each is assessed against its own set of social topics, so a scheme can perform well for local farmers and poorly for plant workers at the same time.
